Has Someone Betrayed You? Trust That God Will Make Things Right. The Art of Forgiveness.

Has someone ever betrayed you?

Do you feel like you have to take matters into your own hands whenever you're betrayed by someone?

Do you feel like you are responsible for making sure that this person pays the consequences for their actions?

Trust me, I get it. If you've said yes to any of those things, I get it. I've been there.

I'm here today to tell you guys that God's got us. He has our best interests at heart, He's working in our favor, He protects us, and he provides for us. We don't have to take anything into our own hands. We are not the ones in control. God is the one that's in control. He will make things right and we just have to trust that He's going to make things right. Us trying to do things on our own and trying to pay somebody back for the things that they did or make sure that they pay for their consequences, that's just going to cause extra stress in our lives. That is going to cause extra problems and it's not going to do any good for anyone, because the only one that's in control is God. Whenever we try to take things into our own hands and we try to do things on our own, that's us doubting that God can take care of it and That he can make things right.

First I want to say a quick prayer. LORD, I pray that you lift up every single person reading this right now. Please guide us, protect us, and help us to see that you have our best interests at heart Lord, and that you will make things right. I pray that whatever it is that each person reading this is supposed to get from this episode, they receive it and they implement it in their daily lives. I love you with every ounce of my being. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Now let's get into some scripture:

"I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" -Psalm 91:2

"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him." -Jeremiah 17:7

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." -Proverbs 3:5-6

So in all of these verses, we see that we need to trust in the Lord. We have to trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. We can't try to take matters into our own hands. When someone betrays you, you really just want to figure out why. It's so hard to understand, especially when it's someone that you really trust, you love and you have so much respect for. You're like, "I don't understand. How could this person betray me?" But it's not up to us to understand. We can't lean on our own understanding. We have to acknowledge God. We have to trust in the Lord with all of our hearts, lean on Him, and acknowledge Him in all of our ways, and He will make our path straight. He will make things right. He will bring justice. He will do all of the things that need to be done in his perfect timing. We can't try to understand it. We can't try to figure it out on our own. We can't try to take matters into our own hands. We just have to trust that God's got us and He's going to make things right. This doesn't have to just be if someone betrays you or something like that. This is in every circumstance in life. Through everything, we have to trust that God's going to make things right, lean on Him, and acknowledge Him in all of our ways.

"It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man."

-Psalm 118:8

So we can't trust people. People are going to disappoint us. They're going to betray us, it's going to happen. People are going to leave, people are going to make mistakes. We're all human. We're not perfect. We cannot put our trust in other people or in ourselves. We have to trust in the Lord, take refuge in Him, and know that He is going to make things right. God is the one in control and He is already working in our favor.

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal." -Isaiah 26:3-4

So when we trust in the Lord, He's going to keep us in perfect peace. He is our provider, He is our Rock, and He is our firm foundation. When our mind is steadfast and we are trusting in the Lord, we're going to have peace, we're not going to feel like we have to do things on our own to make things right, or that we have to make people pay for what they do, or we have to make sure that they don't ever do this to anyone else ever again, we can just have peace in knowing that God's got us. God is going to make things right, He is the one in control, and we don't have to worry about it. Whatever God has planned is already in motion and we don't have to stress about it. He's got us, He is our rock, He is our firm foundation, and He will make things right.

"Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." -Psalm 37: 5-6

So if we just commit to the Lord, trust in him with all of our heart, and trust that He will make things right, He is going to make our righteousness shine. He's going to provide justice, He's going to protect us. God is going to do all of these things. I'm not saying because we trust in the Lord we're not going to face hardships, we're not going to have someone betray us, we're not going to have disappointments, we're not going to have different things happen in our life, but we can commit to the Lord and know He's going to make things right and He's got us. We don't have to stress over it. We don't have to try and figure it out on our own. God is right here with us and we just have to commit to Him, know that He's in complete control, and trust that He is going to make things right.

So I hope this episode helped you to realize that God is in complete control and that we just have to trust that He's going to make things right. We have to let go of the things that have happened, let go of the disappointments in life, and let go of our resentment towards someone who has wronged us. When it comes to forgiveness, we just have to let go, release it, and know that God is going to make things right. We have to trust that He is going to make things right. We don't have to tell someone that we forgive them. It's very important to forgive others, but we don't have to tell them. We don't have to try and get them to realize that what they did is wrong. We don't have to try and make sure that they never do something wrong to someone else again or try and make sure that they pay for their actions.

We just have to give all that to God and release it all to him. He's got it. He's going to take care of it. God is going to make things right. Everything is going to work in God's perfect timing. We just have to know that God's got us and trust and believe that He's going to do everything that He says He is going to do. His plans for our lives are way greater than we could ever imagine. We cannot try and take our life into our own hands. We can't try to take matters into our own hands. We can't try to do things on our own or understand things on our own, but we just have to know that God's got us, He's going to make things right, commit to Him, and stay focused on God no matter what happens. No matter who betrays you, no matter what went on where you thought that nothing was turning out the way that you thought it would just trust that God's going to make things right and the reason why things are happening the way that they are is because God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Those things were not in alignment with it so he had to fix some things around to get you on the right path. We have to just trust that God knows what He's doing, He's in complete control, and just keep on pushing through where God wants us to go. Focus on God and don't try to control things, don't try to put things in your own hands, don't try to understand why everything is happening. Just let it happen and trust that God's going to make things right.

I love you guys so much.
